Your gift can make a real difference
A recent legacy in memory of a former member of TAODS meant that we could have a new House Border made for the auditorium
For the hundreds of young people who attend our Youth Theatre, the volunteers who work so hard both on stage and off and the generations of families who come to see our shows and films each and every year, we know that the work of TAODS at the Hippodrome is important to so many people. We are working hard to ensure that we are able to continue our work, and also to expand it and reach more of our community. To ensure that we can meet and exceed our audience’s expectations and continue to delight and inspire them, we need to find new ways of funding our work. A legacy gift is one of the ways in which you can help us to do that.
If, after providing for your loved ones, you can consider leaving a small gift to TAODS and the Hippodrome Theatre it will help us to ensure we can continue our work for many generations to come. You can either leave a specific sum of money or a proportion of your estate once family and friends have been cared for. Legacies are also an important tax effective device, which can benefit you and your heirs.
Leaving a legacy gift is a very personal decision, and one that you should get professional advice about before taking. If you do decide to leave a legacy gift to us we would like to thank you by acknowledging your gift (unless you ask for your gift to be anonymous) We are installing a board in the main entrance hall at the Hippodrome where we will proudly display the names of our Theatre Angels for ever.
