The Todmorden Improv Group Present:

Improv Night - Friday 1st March 2019
8pm Hippodrome Foyer

They're back. Bigger, Badder and Sillier than before.

TIG - the Todmorden Improvisation Group who performed the Improv Comedy Night last September have been meeting every other Tuesday throughout the cold winter nights, pumping their comedy muscles, priming their humour stoves and coiling their funny springs in preparation for the return of the Comedy Sensation that is Improv Night!

On the evening, they'll be playing a variety of games, such as were made famous by the popular 80s TV show 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' with scenarios suggested by you the audience and it will be their job to turn these strange, often bizarre scenes, into jokes and laughter for your entertainment. Whether it's playing unusual party guests, trying to sell an unsellable product or acting out scenes in a variety of unusual genres, on the night the comedy will be based entirely on audience suggestions, so if you're looking for something spontaneously sparkling this autumn then put on your thinking caps, book yourself a ticket and let TIG! entertain you.

And at the end of the day, as the TV programme famously said, 'everything's made up on the spot and the points don't matter.'

The Tod Improv Group (TIG!) will include, but is not limited to: Dan Clay, Rachel Doyle Richards, Janet Spooner, Joe Marsden, Rachel Peter and Richard Holley.
