About the Exhibition: Step into the atmospheric, mysterious side of the Calder Valley this September. Todmorden Information Centre is proud to present Tales of the Peculiar, a community group exhibition bringing together 10+ local and regional artists, illustrators, photographers, and writers inspired by our town’s rich folklore and strange heritage.
From dramatic paintings of the famous 1980 Burnley Road UFO encounter and fine art photography of Lady Sybil (the shape-shifting Witch of Eagle Crag) to hand-crafted witch bottles, ghost zines, and poetry inspired by the ancient stones of the valley, this showcase explores the local stories that make Todmorden so unique.
