Welcome to the website for the Todmorden Hippodrome Theatre owned and run by the Todmorden Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (T.A.O.D.S.).  Situated in the Upper Calder Valley, between Manchester and Leeds, we're one of the largest community run theatres in the UK.  Here you can find information on all our events and how you can help secure the future of this wonderful 480 seat Edwardian Theatre.

Readthrough and audition dates for our February play, Pyrenees, have been announced for Thursday 15th November at 7:30pm and Monday 19th November at 7:30pm. For more information click here

The Todmorden Book Festival is in town and the Hippodrome Theatre is proud to be hosting a number of big literary names over the next week. There's so much going on we recommend picking up one of the beautiful glossy programmes to help you plan your time available from the TIC, but check out who's coming to the Hipp by clicking HERE.
